This developer position for creating a PIT knowledge network seems like a project I could thrive at. After researching PIT-KN this past weekend I believe the University of Michigan, New America, the Hewlett + Ford Foundation all are wanting a website similar to Angel.co and I believe I could build the front end in HTML, CSS, and JS for this type of website if this is in fact what you’re looking for.
When I attended the School of Information (SI) and worked on research projects alongside university faculty and students I was taught a lot of the skills you’re looking for in this position. Using github in terminal is second nature to me, HTML/CSS/Javascript is how I convey my most important projects lately, and testing SQL databases with API calls is what I did for two years at Ford Motor company after graduating from SI.
