RAG Bot is designed with privacy as a core principle. All AI processing happens entirely on your device — no data is sent to external servers, no cloud processing occurs, and no account is required.

Data Collection

RAG Bot does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. This includes:

• Conversations and chat history
• Documents you upload (PDFs, DOCX, etc.)
• Generated embeddings and vector data
• Model selections and preferences
• Device usage and performance metrics

On-Device Processing

All AI inference, document processing, embedding generation, and retrieval-augmented generation runs locally on your iPhone using on-device models. No internet connection is required after initial model downloads.

Network Usage

The only network activity RAG Bot performs is downloading AI models from their respective providers when you explicitly choose to download a model. No user data is transmitted during this process.

Third-Party Services

RAG Bot does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

All app data — including conversations, documents, embeddings, and downloaded models — is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all associated data.

Children's Privacy

RAG Bot does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL. Since RAG Bot collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
